What is Hex Mythica?

Hex Mythica is a unique, genre-blending MMO dungeon crawler, inspired by the best mechanics and elements from the top games of the past three decades. The Game

In Hex Mythica, you embody an audacious adventurer from the Thieves Guild, venturing into the Maelstrom Tower—a place where space and time are distorted. Your mission is to unearth treasures within this forbidden tower, risking your life for the promise of immense wealth.

Hex Mythica operates on a unique economic model featuring an in-game currency, premium currency and item locking mechanisms for each player every season. The game also introduces time-sensitive turn-based combat, akin to speed chess, elevating the thrill of the gameplay.

The gameplay unfolds inside the tower, a former scientific lab now transformed into a time-space anomaly epicenter. The game has two primary areas:

Home Area: This is the player's base, equipped with various components for preparing for dungeon exploration. The Dungeon: Here, players combat monsters and bosses, gather loot, and utilize special rooms with extra game mechanics. The dungeon floors are infinite—the run continues until the player meets a temporary demise.

Core Mechanics

Expand Your Home Area

Players can broaden their home area by incorporating various decorations that serve different purposes, such as adding aesthetic value and providing extra utilities. There are also assets that allow deck or card manipulation, the creation or joining of guilds, and the buying or selling of NFTs.

Build Your Guild

Players can invite others to join their home area, forming a common operational base or Guild. This represents the MMO component of the game. While players cannot enter a dungeon together, they can cooperate within the Guild Area to enhance it and gain strength within the dungeon.

Build Your Deck

In the dungeon, players collect temporary items such as weapons, artifacts, and spells which vanish upon death. However, players can make these items permanent by using the Vault—a special room in the dungeon that transforms items into permanent cards. This introduces a high risk-reward element, as players must choose: either continue the game with the unique item or save it by vaulting it, forfeiting it from the current run.
