Publishers of the world’s greatest illustrated science fiction and fantasy comics magazine, known primarily for its blend of dark fantasy/science fiction and erotica and steampunk comics, Heavy Metal began life in the US in 1977 as a glossy, full-colour monthly. Heavy Metal Magazine has grown in reach and scope to include a stable of artists and creators that have defined the fantasy genre for decades.

Recent moves have seen the Heavy Metal Magazine branch into Web3 via its soon to be launched Metal+ project with the world’s first NFT linked comics and graphic novels, Heavy Metal NFT collectables and a raft of community driven publishing, tv and film projects coming to life. The release of Metal+, scheduled for Q3 2022 will provide next level engagement for its rapidly expanding subscriber base of some 500,000 fans with exclusive Myth offerings around staking, rewards and participation.

Metal+ will be utilising the MYTH token for community rewards, exclusive access to NFT collectibles and as a utility across ongoing platform projects.
